Who are we?

We have a charity shop in the centre of Preston which enables us to generate income to put back into the community through many different projects.

We are privileged to partner with agencies, charities, groups and organisations, both statutory and voluntary, such as Domestic Violence Services, Lancashire Social Services, Mental Health Services, NHS, and local schools who work within the community. By working with these organisations and charities we are able to reach more people, particularly those who are often seen as unreachable - it doesn't matter who you are, what religion you are, nationality, sexual

orientation - we want to help.

.

We are made up of volunteers who have either trained in practical areas before volunteering, or have learnt the skills needed whilst being mentored on projects. All of our volunteers have a heart for helping the community. They want to support people in whatever way they can, and we are always looking for more people with this passion to join one of our teams.

Serve Our Community

We are a charity with a Christian foundation, supported by Crossgate Church, that seeks to meet the needs of the local community, by helping the people around us.

Our aims...

We want to make a powerful change in people’s lives and impact them to make a lasting difference.

The main areas we look to do this through are Inside Out, Christians Against Poverty (CAP), Celebrate Recovery (a 12 step recovery programme), and our Community Hub (Tuesday mornings at the charity shop).

All of our main services are offered completely free of charge. You do not have to be a Christian, go to church or pay anything to access any of the services. We value every life, and want to help in every way we can.

People whose lives are changed by Inside Out often begin volunteering once they are back on their feet, to give back to the community that helped them. One of our lead volunteers was helped by the project, and now donates most of his time to Inside Out and to Celebrate Recovery.

We want to see this happen over and over again, so that every person in need can be transformed and restored into the person they were meant to be.
